Klinik Straits is located at the central of the Prai Industrial and Housing area at Sunway Carnival. The clinic has been incorporated since 2024 and with its team that has been in the market since serving the community for more than 10 years.

Klinik Straits Seberang Jaya operates daily and offers to many companies that are loyal to the services as a panel clinic. Currently, we have close to 10,000 lives that we are serving in Prai area.

In Jan 2024, Straits Penang PLT has set up to incorporate the Straits Clinic and have plans in upgrading the facilities at the clinic to enable it to be the next Medical and Diagnostic Centre in Prai. We are proud to inform that the clinic is officially open for business on the Oct 2024.

This clinic also provides as Mobile Medical Clinic for the Industrial Companies located around Prai, Batu Kawan, Taiping and surrounding area. Transportation can be arranged to pick-up workers located around the area for any pre-employment or FOMEMA related screening if required. We are also one of the Preferred Partner for Shipping Companies to engage for the medical screening and surveillance.

Led by Dr. Mohamed Izham Bin Mohamed Iqbal, an Occupational Health Doctor with international accreditations, our clinic provides specialized care with an emphasis on workplace health. He is a highly accomplished Occupational Health Physician with over seven years of experience in occupational medicine. He specializes in workplace health management, advanced ergonomic risk assessments, and comprehensive medical evaluations. His expertise extends to managing chronic diseases, implementing medical surveillance programs, and conducting specialized medical assessments for employment and maritime compliance. He is also accredited as a Certified Medical Review Officer and an Advanced Ergonomics Trained Person, demonstrating his commitment to excellence in occupational health and safety.
